The first trailer for Joker: Folie à Deux, the Joker sequel starring Lady Gaga opposite Joaquin Phoenix, arrived today. The clip shows Phoenixâs Joker and Gagaâs Harley Quinn meeting in Gotham Cityâs Arkham Asylum. Check it out below, ahead of the filmâs release on Friday, October 4, 2024.
Gaga stars as Harley Quinn in the movie, and Atlantaâs Zazie Beetz returns as Sophie Dumond. Also pegged to feature are Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, Ken Leung, and Steve Coogan, among others. Gaga, whose last major role was in Ridley Scottâs 2021 film House of Gucci, shared a first-look image of her Harley Quinn character in February of last year.
