TOMORROW X TOGETHER Releases Their Seventh Mini Album, The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY
TOMORROW X TOGETHER, also known as TXT for short, have released their seventh mini album, The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY. Building upon what they’ve created through previous albums The Dream Chapter, The Chaos Chapter, and The Name Chapter, this new chapter of their story is celestial, ethereal, and shines brightly like the constellations in the sky.
This latest album is representative of TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and their group’s evolution that similarly reflects the stories of their Gen Z. Going through difficulties with their friendships, romance, and greed within previous releases, this current album serves as a full circle moment when “you” and “I” meet again to rekindle our promises. Written like a story of star-crossed lovers, the latest album harmoniously gathers the joys of finding your other half as if it were destiny and the harsher realities of life when nothing can last forever to create a unique visual and auditory fairytale experience.
The album has four concepts: KNIGHT, SAVIOR, LOVER, and ANGEL. KNIGHT is a reflection of the classic love story – a prince on a majestice white horse races into the story to save the damsel in distress. Modernizing the majestice white horse for a motorcycle, the five members – SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI – are the princes in this case. Moving along to SAVIOR, the group drew their inspiration from Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen,” thawing their lover’s frozen heart with their own heartwarming and genuine love. LOVER is remniscent of a new first love, where everything is fresh, giddy, and positive. Finally, ANGEL brings the comfortability of a long-lasting relationship, where your partner has become someone that’s like your home.
As the main subject of this love story, the group’s titular song is “Over The Moon,” which evokes emotions of nostalgia, longing, and overwhelming happiness over the reunion between two lovers. The album consists of six songs – “Heaven,” “Over The Moon,” “Danger,” “Resist (Not Gonna Run Away),” “Forty One Winks,” and “Higher Than Heaven,” – each with a different focus and vibe, but all telling the same story of the star-crossed Gen Z lovers.
The album is available to stream now here.
