Justin Bieber isn’t hung up on the Diddy drama.
Following Sean Combs‘ sex trafficking arrest last week, there’s been lots of chatter about JB’s reaction — you know, considering their history and all. But a new source on Sunday told People he’s not dwelling on the legal matter. Just weeks after welcoming his firstborn son Jack Blues with Hailey Bieber, the musician is solely focused on his fam these days! The insider shared:
“He’s aware of Diddy’s arrest and all the allegations.”
But:
“It’s not anything that he wants to focus on, though.”
Understandable. It’s a heavy subject — and potentially more so for him, depending on whatever he saw when in Diddy’s orbit as a teen and beyond.

It’s really no surprise that he’d be trying to block out the negativity while he adjusts to dad life — something he’s only about a month into at this point. Speaking of, the insider added that the Holy singer has “been in a happy bubble since baby Jack was born.” Aw! They expressed:
“He just wants to focus on being a great dad and husband.”
Sweet!
As mentioned, this comes after a DailyMail.com report last week which claimed the Grammy winner was totally “thrown” by the hip hop mogul’s arrest and allegations. At the time, an insider said:
“Bieber is so disturbed by the Diddy news and is unwilling to process it or discuss it so he has shut off.”
On why this was so distressing for the 30-year-old, the confidant noted:
“So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him.”
Justin’s mentor Usher was mentored by Diddy, so they no doubt had a lot of similar connections. But the Sean John founder was also someone the songwriter clearly looked up to — he said as much himself last year when promoting their recent collaboration. Their song Moments is now causing the Baby crooner to have big regrets, the source added:
“He had a long break from Diddy when he believes most of this took place and he had distanced himself from him. He was featured on Diddy’s most recent album, and had he known any of this, there is no way he would have done it.”
The musicians were first linked when the Canadian was just a rising star in his teens. In a now-disturbing video, Diddy gloated about taking custody of the young heartthrob for 48 hours to go “full buck, full crazy.” Then, a year later, they returned in a second video in which the Never Say Never artist was blasted for dodging Diddy’s calls. Oof. Not exactly the best look in light of all these allegations now.
We hope this isn’t affecting the early days of parenting for JB too much! This sure has to be complicated for him and so many others connected to the controversial star… Reactions? Sound OFF (below)!
