A brand new film from Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye, which shares a title along with his forthcoming album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, has obtained a North American launch date of Could 16, 2025, in response to The Hollywood Reporter. The suspense thriller stars the Weeknd alongside Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan, with director Trey Edward Shults (identified for the A24 motion pictures Waves and It Comes at Night time) on the helm. The film may even characteristic music from the Weeknd’s frequent collaborator Daniel “Oneohtrix Level By no means” Lopatin. The Weeknd and his firm Manic Section are producing the movie for Lionsgate.
Hurry Up Tomorrow, the movie, follows the Weeknd’s ill-fated TV sequence, The Idol, which was canceled final 12 months, after (or, mentioned some stories, throughout) its first season.
