Red Velvet’s Irene’s long-awaited solo debut is off to an impressive start!
Last week, Irene made her highly-anticipated solo debut with her first mini album “Like A Flower” and its upbeat title track of the same name.
According to Hanteo Chart, “Like A Flower” sold an impressive total of 336,805 copies in the first week of its release (November 26 to December 2), setting a new record for the highest first-week sales ever achieved by a female soloist under SM Entertainment.
“Like A Flower” also achieved the seventh-highest first-week sales of any album by a female soloist in Hanteo history, bested only by BLACKPINK’s Jisoo’s “ME,” BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s “LALISA,” (G)I-DLE’s Yuqi’s “YUQ1,” TWICE’s Jihyo’s “ZONE,” BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s “R,” and TWICE’s Nayeon’s “NA.”
