Pamela Anderson is opening up about her decision to leave Hollywood.
Earlier this week, the Baywatch alum talked all things empowerment with Women’s Wear Daily — including her decision to step away from Tinsel Town to return to her home country of Canada. She told the outlet:
“I guess a homecoming, you could say, to really kind of look at my life and remember who I was — not what other people were telling me I was — and I didn’t want anything that had happened to me define me. I wanted what I do to define me.”
Good for her! As we’ve been following, Pamela has gone through a LOT of transformation over the past several years — both on the inside with self love, and the outside too, shedding her signature makeup.

She added:
“All these realizations came to me in the rose garden.”
How beautiful!
If you didn’t know, the 57-year-old was born and raised in Canada. It wasn’t until 1990 that she moved to El Lay after appearing as Playboy’s cover girl for their October 1989 issue. Earlier this month, the Scary Movie 3 alum revealed she struggled with “depression for a couple of decades” after Baywatch, but is now gearing up to grace the big screen once again with her yet-to-be-released film The Last Showgirl, which has been drumming up a lot of excitement! She explained at the Zurich Film Festival in Switzerland she “want[s] to keep working” and is “excited to do more” — we guess just OUTSIDE of Hollywood in her day-to-day!
Good for her! It’s all about balance! Thoughts, Perezcious readers?
