She was quite special to him.
In the latest episode of You Quiz On The Block, Korea’s beloved heartthrob actor Song Seung Heon (also known as Song Seung Hun) blessed the viewers with his timeless visual. While talking about how grateful he is for his fans, Song revealed that he once attended his fan’s wedding—where he ended up bursting into tears.
The hosting comedian, Yoo Jae Suk, praised Song for being well-known to be good to his fans. But for Song, this particular fan was extra special as she had been his fan club president for a long time.
I’ve known her since I was a rookie actor starting out in the entertainment world. When I first met her, she was a student… Coming to see me on set, still in her school uniform. So, she has been a fan of mine for over 20 years.

When she told Song that she was getting married, he came up with a cute little plan to surprise her. On her wedding day, Song showed up at the bride’s waiting room unannounced. The fan was thrilled to see her favorite star, but at the same time, she could not hold back her tears.
A couple of years back, she came to see me on set again, and she told me, ‘Oppa! I’m getting married!’ And I was like, ‘Huh?! But you were just a high school kid following me around!’ Hearing her tell me about her wedding felt unreal.
I decided to go see her tie the knot. I showed up unannounced and found my way into the bride’s waiting room. When I walked in, she was so surprised and absolutely thrilled to see me… but at the same time, she started tearing up.

When he saw the fan tear up, Song also felt a rush of feelings. Reminded of all the memories he had shared with her over the past two decades, Song got emotional and teared up, too.
I mean, I went there hoping to surprise her and make her feel good because I was so excited for her. But then, when I saw her, I was reminded of all the times that she came to see me on set. All those times she showed up in her school uniform and backpack… And there she was, all grown up and getting married to the love of her life. Looking at her, I started tearing up, too!

Before things got too out of hand, though, Song managed to calm himself down and pose for a picture with the fan.
I realized, though, that all her friends and relatives were watching, like, ‘Wow! Song Seung Heon is here!’ If I started full-on bawling there, things could… perhaps, be misunderstood. So I pulled myself together and tried to lighten up the mood by asking her for a photo together.

Looking back, Song said he could not be more grateful for her support through the decades and thanked all of his fans for making him who he is!
