Lil Durk is ready to show the world a whole new side of his talent with an upcoming acting appearance on Power Book II: Ghost.
Durk, who per an interview with his manager Peter Jideonwo filmed at least some of his scenes in 2023, is set to appear on the next episode of the series, scheduled to air on Friday (September 27).
Cast member Gianni Paolo, who plays Brayden, shared the news on Instagram after news of the rapper’s appearance on the show began to leak.
“We kept it a secret for a year and a half and they wanna leak it two days before the mf episode,” he wrote. “Cats out of the bag now big bros TV debut… Can’t wait for y’all to see.”

In other good news for Durk, he is claiming that his criminal record has been wiped clean.
The Chicago rapper, who has an extensive rap sheet, made the announcement on X (formerly Twitter) over the weekend and was understandably thrilled at the news.
“Everybody should get second chances at life. It’s about what you do with it. Alhamdulillah! My background wiped and clean of all cases. I ain’t a felon anymore,” he wrote.
“Who would have thought? I want to thank everyone who helped push my vision forward. Thank you from the bottom of my heart #THEVOICE.”
Lil Durk’s since-expunged legal issues date back to 2011 when he was arrested on a weapons charge, for which he was sentenced to three months behind bars.
Two years later, the “All My Life” hitmaker was arrested again and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon. He was given 18 months’ probation after pleading guilty.
During this probation, however, Durk was allegedly caught by police in possession of two guns, leading to another weapons-related charge. The case was eventually dropped after a judge ruled that the rapper was not in “possession and control” of the guns and therefore did not violate his probation.
Durk’s legal troubles escalated in 2019 when he and late collaborator King Von were hit with attempted murder, among other charges, stemming from a non-lethal shooting in Atlanta.
The OTF duo would later be cleared when the charges were dropped in 2022.
In a Dismissal of Charges Motion issued by Georgia’s Superior Court of Fulton County, District Attorney Fani T. Willis said: “The facts of this case have been reviewed and, although it appears that probable cause existed for the defendant’s arrest, the decision of the District Attorney at this time is not to prosecute.”
