JYP Entertainment has addressed evidence of TWICE being found in deep fake porn.

Recently, it was revealed that over 200 female idols were found in deepfake porn, and it left netizens disgusted. Several tweets on X spread awareness of these sites created for female K-Pop idols. One website, in particular, features the names of over 100 female idols from nearly every generation of K-Pop, including several fifth-generation groups.

After the news circulated, netizens started trending hashtags getting the K-Pop companies to take action, and JYP Entertainment was mentioned, home to girl groups like TWICE, ITZY, and NMIXX.

One, if not the first, company to make a statement is JYP Entertainment regarding TWICE. On August 30, the TWICE X account put out a tweet with a post in response to the alarming images and deepfakes that have been circulating of the members.

The post in English spoke about the concern for the videos involving their artists and that they are in the process of collecting evidence to pursue strong legal action. They then explained how they would not stand for their artists’ rights being violated.

After the post was shared, netizens shared praise for the company’s swift actions.
