A profit live performance for victims of the continued California wildfires has been introduced. FireAid will happen Thursday, January 30 at Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome, with the present’s lineup but to be introduced. Proceeds for the occasion will go to a 501(c)(3) with the aim of “rebuilding infrastructure, supporting displaced households, and advancing fireplace prevention applied sciences and techniques to make sure LA is best ready for fireplace emergencies,” in line with a press launch. The live performance is produced by Shelli, Irving, and the Azoff Household, at the side of LiveNation and AEG Presents.
Within the wake of the lethal fires, many musicians and their households have been pressured to evacuate their properties, with some, together with Diiv’s Zachary Cole Smith, Tim Darcy, Fats Tony, and Empress Of’s Lorely Rodriguez, in search of support to remain afloat and ultimately cowl repairs. Yesterday, January 9, Speedy Ortiz’ Sadie Dupuis shared a spreadsheet monitoring “music business people who’ve misplaced their properties to the fires,” with corresponding hyperlinks for donations.
