EXO’s Doh Kyung Soo (D.O.)’s agency will be taking legal action to protect its artist.
On September 20, Company Soosoo released the following statement announcing that it would take strong legal action against malicious posts about Doh Kyung Soo:
Hello, this is Company Soosoo.
We would like to sincerely thank all the fans who give Company Soosoo’s artist Doh Kyung Soo their love and interest.
We plan to take strong legal action against malicious posts that thoughtlessly defame our artist’s character through malicious libel, the spreading of falsehoods, or personal attacks and insults.
Through realtime monitoring and reports, we have confirmed that malicious posts containing insults and libel about our artist are being continuously posted online.
Therefore, we are mass-gathering related evidence and materials, and we have decided that we can no longer overlook the severity of the situation resulting from these malicious posts.Accordingly, we will do our utmost to gather evidence related to malicious posts and to actively monitor [the situation] in order to protect our artist’s rights.
Additionally, the interest and reports of [Doh Kyung Soo’s] fans is a huge help to us.
