TV Chosun’s “DNA Lover” has shared a sneak peek of a heartbreaking moment from its upcoming episode!
“DNA Lover” is a romantic comedy starring Jung In Sun as Han So Jin, a genetic researcher who has been through countless failed relationships. As she searches for her destined partner through genes, she winds up becoming entangled with sensitive obstetrician Shim Yeon Woo (played by Super Junior’s Choi Siwon).

On the previous episode of “DNA Lover,” Shim Yeon Woo and Han So Jin struggled to reconcile their vastly different approaches to love and dating. At the end of the episode, Han So Jin was shocked to learn that her true “DNA Lover” was not Shim Yeon Woo, as she had thought, but Seo Kang Hoon (Lee Tae Hwan) instead.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Shim Yeon Woo waits for Han So Jin outside her house in the hopes of speaking to her. Although he grabs her by the arm and tries to stop her from leaving with a sincere expression, Han So Jin remains firm as she tearfully walks away from him and goes inside her house.
The “DNA Lover” production team commented, “Starting from Episode 11, Choi Siwon and Jung In Sun will stand at a crossroads where they have to choose a different path from the one they’ve been walking up until now.”
They continued, “These two people are facing the most difficult problem of their lives: that they are not one another’s ‘DNA Lover.’ Please stay tuned to find out what sort of decision they will make in the future.”
The next episode of “DNA Lover” will air on September 21 at 9:10 p.m. KST.
