Billy Ray Cyrus is extending out an olive branch for Miley’s 32nd birthday.
The Flowers singer celebrated the big 3-2 on Saturday and despite their estrangement, her poppa took to social media to wish her “the best one ever.” In an Instagram post Billy Ray shared on Saturday, he wrote:
“Happy Birthday Mile !!! Hope it’s the best one ever ! (I know I dropped the ‘y’. That’s what I called @mileycyrus most of her life. )

The 63-year-old shared the sweet words alongside a carousel of throwback images, ranging from baby pics of the Wrecking Ball singer, to Hannah Montana red carpets, festival performances, and more. See HERE.

Miley and Billy Ray haven’t been on great terms ever since he and the Disney Channel alum’s mom Tish Cyrus split up in 2022… Part of the reason being he soon after shacked up with Firerose, whom he married and has now infamously divorced. It’s been reported that Firerose intentionally tried to drive a wedge between Billy Ray and Miley’s relationship by blocking the pop star’s number on his phone. And let’s not forget all that leaked audio tape drama wherein the Achy Breaky Heart singer seemingly calls his daughter a “skank.” So all of this is to say Miley is reportedly OVER trying the idea of having a relationship with her dad. But maybe he’s getting started on his apology tour now that he and Firerose are officially divorced?
