BABYMONSTER and YG Entertainment are believed to have “shaded” HYBE following controversial internal documents being leaked.
Recently, HYBE has gotten into hot water for the internal documents that mentioned many idols from other companies and criticized them. Among the documents, there were tweets shared showing that HYBE seemingly mentioned BABYMONSTER, especially in regard to SM Entertainment’s new girl group.

Netizens believe BABYMONSTER and YG Entertainment “shaded” HYBE with their recent content.
Ahead of their comeback, BABYMONSTER released a Baemon News episode, which seemed to be a comedy skit to tease what fans could expect from the group’s release, showcasing the members’ personalities.
During the video, Rora spoke about exposing BABYMONSTER, and the caption explained, “The truth about BAEMON, internal disclosure by a YG employee.” Many took the direct use of “internal” as a dig to HYBE because it was their internal documents that got leaked.
The document also seemingly touched upon other idols’ visuals, and netizens thought Pharita touched upon this when she said, “The kids are dangerously…pretty. How can all 7 of them be so pretty?”
After the video was posted, netizens believed the group and YG Entertainment “shaded” HYBE with the content.
