Recently, a post claiming to reveal the artist lineup and set times for Coachella 2025 has been making waves on X (formerly known as Twitter). Among the many big names listed on the calendar are two of K-Pop’s hottest fourth-generation girl groups, aespa and NewJeans.
Coachella has become a prestigious event, not just for Western artists but also for global acts, including K-Pop stars. With BLACKPINK’s landmark performance in 2019 — followed by much talked about stages from aespa, ATEEZ, LESSERAFIM, and more — the festival has proven to be an excellent stage for K-Pop acts to reach a broader audience.
The idea of these groups performing at one of the world’s most famous music festivals has understandably excited fans.

According to the supposed schedule, aespa is set to perform on the Sahara stage — the same massive platform where BLACKPINK made history — while NewJeans would take the same Coachella stage that aespa previously graced.
However, as thrilling as the idea may be, it appears the excitement might be premature. On closer inspection, the legitimacy of this so-called leak is highly questionable.
The URL of the online calendar where the schedule was found literally reads: “coachella2025fakesettimes,” casting significant doubt on its authenticity.
Additionally, the original poster of the tweet that circulated the supposed lineup has since clarified that they, too, discovered the calendar isn’t a credible source.
