Netizens have hit back at claims that SHINee Taemin‘s upcoming video plagiarizes BTS‘s Jimin.
On August 16 (local time), Taemin posted the first teaser for his upcoming release called “Sexy In The Air.”
When the clip started circulating on social media, some ARMYs started calling out the similarities to Jimin’s past releases, including “Like Crazy” and “Set Me Free Pt.2.”

When the tweets started to get shared, netizens and Taemin fans quickly came to the idol’s defense. They explained that if Taemin was plagiarizing anyone, it was actually himself because the vibes of the video seemed to combine concepts and images the idol has used in past releases.
