Former Central Michigan Chippewas quarterback Tommy Lazzaro has handed away, the varsity introduced Thursday. He was simply 27 years previous.
Lazzaro — a Monument, Colorado native — was concerned in a deadly searching accident this previous Sunday in Florida, based on a number of experiences.
Lazzaro made 20 profession appearances for the Chippewas … and was a part of the workforce that went 8-6 and made it to the MAC Championship Recreation in opposition to Miami (OH) in 2019. He led the workforce with two touchdowns within the contest.
In his profession at CMU, Lazzaro earned 758 yards and 5 touchdowns by means of the air … including 542 yards and 11 scores on the bottom.
